Ingredients
- 2 Cornish hens – about 3½ lbs total
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp thyme
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Pat hens dry with paper towel.
- Coat with ½ Tbs olive oil each.
- Mix spices in a small bowl and then rub on all sides of the hens.
- Place hens in air fryer breast side down.
- Flip after 10 minutes.
- Cook for 20 minutes more or until internal temp is 165°F.
- Let rest 10 minutes.
Because these are small and water content may vary, the cook times could be different. I would suggest temping the hens after 20 minutes and 25 minutes so they don’t overcook.
