Ingredients
- 8 oz ground beef
- 1 bell pepper (any color)
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 (15–16 oz) can pinto beans
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp prepared mustard
- 2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (12 oz) can V8
- 2 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
- ½ cup water
- 1 package hamburger buns
Directions
- Brown the ground beef along with the bell pepper and onion. Drain if needed.
- Add all other ingredients except the tomato paste and water.
- Simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Using your spatula, mash about half of the beans.
- Stir in tomato paste.
- Stir in water.
- If it is too thick, add more water. (Keep it a little thicker so it stays on the hamburger buns.)
- Serve on hamburger buns and enjoy.
